“The most anti-Christian people I know were Christians who had bad church experiences and nothing to help them back. We failed those people!”

Of course bad things happen to people in church or in some cases evil happens. Does a personal experience make something right or wrong? No, of course not. That is however how most people become anti-Christian. (more…)

Repost – I Survived the Apocalypse… Again

At least my glasses survived!

Well, the end of the world has come and gone again. They said it would be the Apocalypse, but the end did not come. Somehow the Blood Moon was supposed to signal the end but the “curse of the day after” reared its head. That is the way every claim to know the Apocalypse has ended… nothing happened and life kept going forward. That has happened a lot in the last century. (more…)

You Ate All My Halloween Candy!

I don’t know what to think about this.  On one side it is hilarious but on the other is is so mean.  I would act like one of the kids at the end, I just know it.

Perhaps it shows how much we feel entitled to something that was given to us.  Reminds me a bit of Jonah 4: 6-11 (on one way to look at God’s gifts) and Job 1: 13- 22 (the better way to view God’s Providence).
